The gateway to the Hadoti region, Umed Bhawan Palace, Kotah is Kota’s most famous heritage hotel, owned and operated by the Royal Family of Kotah. The Palace is built in the Indo-Saracenic style of architecture – a style popularized in the late 19th century in India. The Palace was built as a residence for the personal use of the Maharao and his family, who until then lived at the City Palace (Garh) - which is now run as a non-profit Museum by the Rao Madho Singh Museum Trust. Our 32 elegantly appointed rooms & suites are tastefully decorated to combine modern comforts with the old world charms of the Palace.
